Shipped today from the warehouse and I should receive them sometime early next week!

So! If you had placed a pre-order with me for any of these items, rest assured that I will be setting your order aside for you as it arrives and will be announcing it or calling you (likely both). I have ordered some extra but I do NOT anticipate these to stick around long. I will do my best to accomodate, but if you are interested in any of the above I would recommend placing a 'special order' by emailing me at jenn@thescrapbox.ca .

These can be viewed by going to this link

http://www.provocraft.com/products/catalog.php?cl=cuttlebug&scl=Embossing

as well as all the embossing folders and die cuts for the Cuttlebug. Any of these I can get for you - just let me know what you want ok?

jenn@thescrapbox.ca or 613-745-2215 or come into the store!

Here is a 'Did you know' moment...

Did you know that Spellbinders Embossing and Diecuts are compatible with the Cuttlebug? Yes!
I am very interested in this company as their sets are or good quality, compact, space effiecient and very well priced on top of their compatibility with the Cuttlebug and many other existing die cut systems.

I will be carrying the Nestabilities at the start but starting to bring in some of the other product as well and certainly anything you see on their website ...

http://www.spellbinders.us/ct/store/ct_dynamicIndex.asp?idAffiliate=

...I will also be able to order in for you. Let me know 'k?

I'm Back!

...and thank goodness, becuase I sure missed you all!

My DD and I had a great time with my Dad and as soon as I get some photos off my camera I'll post a few here. BC is beautiful! and cool! Like - really sunny but without the sticky! But it's not home, and home is here and that is where I want to be!

So - it's back to business for me and I have to go now and start planning Sept, Oct, Nov and of course Dec but if you want to check out what's happening at the Scrapbox in August check out www.thescrapbox.ca and go to the Classes section.

Heads Up!
This weekend is the long weekend and if you are going to be around, why not crop at The Scrapbox? My Ultra Pamper Crop is this Saturday Aug 2 from 9am to 9pm! That's right - 12 hours of cropping and it is where you get the works : catered meals, free hot beverages, lots of space to do your craft, use of studio tools and access to a fully stocked (and awesome) scrapbook store - where you can run a tab all day. I mean - what could be better?

Weather for this weekend is going to be sunny and hooooooooooot - 33+ degrees with the humidity but it's cool in here. Call now to sign up for the crop 613-745-2215 and or email me at jenn@thescrapbox.ca .

What are ATC's anyways?

I would like to tell you what it is *for me*.

Other resources would be to grab your latest edition of Scrapbook and Cards today and check out the great article on page 22 or just to google 'Artist Trading Card' and see all the great articles that come up.

But - for me ATC's do the following;

- challenges me to create a series of 'variations on a theme' using new (and often scraplifted) ideas from anywhere

- magazines, the internet, customers or shamelessly from the DT team. (I will emphasize I totally give credit where credit is due).

- From a practical viewpoint it`s a great way to use up all the little "bits" that are always left over from any given paper project.

- I love collecting things and this has become one of my favorite collections ever!

- Since I got hooked into it by Anne and Debbie, I get to hook others into it and thereby makes it ok to be obsessed about them =)

And there is lots more too of course, but I won't be able to think about them until after I post this. Best just to come to our ATC Events at The Scrapbox. Visit www.thescrapbox.ca and go to the Classes section to see all that's available and when the ATC events are.

hugs!

Cuttlebug Market Research...

...done by me over the weekend and this is what I found...

There are Cuttlebugs for sale at the Trainyards Walmart – for $67 ea – 2 in stock as of Sunday. Something didn’t look quite right to me so after staring at the box for a few minutes I figured out what it was – the bonus die cut and embossing set wasn’t part of the package!

Let me quickly explain – with the Cuttlebug Set that I provide you get the machine, the plates plus a bonus of a sweet stamp shaped die cut and 4 stamp shaped embossing folders - that so far as I can determine you can only get with this particular Cuttlebug Starter Kit Offer.

So here is the bottom line

Walmart : $67 but no bonus set.

Scrapbox : $90 with bonus set. Oh and then you get to discount 15% because you are a Studio Member which takes it down to $76.45. So the cost difference? The extra die and embossing set is easily worth $10 retail.

The choice, ultimately is yours. I have no idea what Michaels is doing these days with this item – sometimes they honor their 40% off coupon and other times they don’t (This is according to verbal reports given to me by more than 3 different individuals) so good luck with that!

If you want to check out what a Cuttlebug does and how frikkin easy it is to use, come down to The Scrapbox for a free demo!

After LONG last - Core'dinations Cardstock has finally sipped out a partial order of their "Black Magic" paper packs AND I GOT MINE!

All of those smart ladies who had asked to have a pack or two set aside for them - it has been done and they are just awaiting your pleasure. I will be making calls over Saturday to personally inform those that special ordered them. I do have some left of each of the four Black Magic Paper Packs - "Hocus Pocus" "Cauldron" "Potion #9" and "Spell Caster"!

These *will not last* ladies. Already I've been told by my distributers that they got a partial order and that means another wait to get more in. If you are at all intersted in getting some, or finding out what this latest 'hot' items is - come down to The Scrapbox tomorrow (Sat July 5) as I am going to be open from 9am to 9pm because I am having my Ultra Pamper Crop also!
